 Welcome!

I am Cathleen Wilder and I teach fun, effective private singing lessons and classes in Albuquerque, NM, USA, as well as online lessons anywhere.

​

Whether you are a shy singer or seasoned performer, I successfully help students of numerous styles build a solid foundation, better breath support, maximize their range, understand their voice type, help with ear-training, sight-singing, theory and rhythm training as well as developing one's unique style and confidence. I also provide mentoring for up and coming artists of all types and am adept at helping artists find and develop their unique gift and style.  

 

My laser-like ability to diagnose singers' specific needs provides tangible solutions that lead to immediate and lasting benefits, regardless of the student's background, goals, styles or level.

 

 I have been passionate about teaching singing for over thirty years. Originally an amateur folk singer/songwriter, I later studied classical singing and hold a Masters of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Oregon School of Music. ​​​
