Welcome!  I am Cathleen Wilder and I teach fun, effective private singing lessons and classes in Albuquerque, NM, as well as online lessons anywhere in the world.

​

Whether you ​are a shy beginner or seasoned performer, I successfully help singers of all styles  build a solid technical foundation, better breath support, maximize their range, understand their voice type, help with ear-training, sight-singing, music theory and rhythm training, as well as style development, confidence and and mentoring of both developing and advanced singers. ​

 

My laser-like ability to diagnose singers' specific needs provides tangible solutions that lead to immediate and lasting benefits, regardless of the student's background or goals, style or level.

 

 I have been passionate about teaching singing for over thirty years. Originally a folk singer/songwriter, I later studied classical singing and hold a Masters of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Oregon School of Music. ​​
